Open Letter to
Prime Minister of India and
Chief Ministers of all State Government of India
And All the Leaders of every
Political Parties in India.
If our government can provide
pure drinking water free up to 20 liters per day to every family it will be
grateful. I appeal you to make effort to convince the core committee of the All
Party make effort to make an arrangement for free pure drinking water to every
citizen at their doorstep as well as public palaces through government agencies
at state level or central government or at municipal corporation level or
through all Jal Boards. The provision of pure Drinking Water is right to life
and is fundamental right. If the Jal Boards can be directed to make effort and
arrangement for providing every citizen pure drinking water at their doorstep,
workplace, on streets at 1 KM distance in a planned way it is not a matter of
any difficulty.
I earnestly feel that all the
Government should make Decision to establish a Mineral Water Plant for public
supply through Jal Boards and it should be provided free of cost.
My suggestion to the
government through you is that all the Private Mineral Water Plant establishments
providing branded Mineral water should alternatively be taken over by
government to ensure free supply of pure mineral water and reverse osmosis
water.
Every Indian should get free
and pure water because it is the responsibility of the State to provide it.
Pure Drinking Water is
natural resource and it should be available free of cost instead of being sold
at cost. It should not be sold, if the government should make an effective
system to ensure free supply of at least sufficient quantity of pure and free
drinking to every family according to the size and actual requirement.
My suggestion as well as
request is that for making this arrangement there should not be any extra levy
of tax in addition to taxes being levied at present.
Most of the population in
India could not get drinking water despite state is collecting taxes in various
names and form.
The citizens of India are
made to suffer and die just because of lack of access to pure water.
According to the constitution
of India we are welfare state, even then state is not thinking about providing
pure water.
The individual citizen should
not be forced to install water filters, R O system and various other
purification appliances at their own cost. Rather it is the responsibility of
the state to ensure that every individual citizen has access to free and pure
drinking the water is available at their doorstep
Please acknowledge the
receipt of the mail and If possible I would like to have an appointment with
you to explain my idea to you.
Thanks
