There is a corrupt practice be patronized by IRCTC while booking of railway tickets if visit irctc.co.in and try to book you ticket you will find as regular phenomena that its result of search displays that there is no seat/ berth available then you have to book a ticket by opting for tatkal facility but surprisingly you find in train the there is only few passengers are travelling with you having reserved seat and rest of the coach is empty. It has happened with me many time travelling from Allahabad to Lucknow whenever I tried to get a reserved ticket I could not find it as it was only available in Tatkal quota and while boarding the train I had experienced that I have the only passenger travelling with reserved Ticket and rest of the of the seat were not reserved. How can it be possible if, it could not be possible without any conspiracy hatched to take away hard earned money just to increase revenue with unfair mean. The railway administration should investigate with objective to find how many ticket have been issued in single train and how many of them were Tatkal out of it. If the in the seat were not fill then why the IRCTC has issued Tatkal tickets.
Puneet Ghai:- Totally Agree with this and I have written to a related problem already in PMO (Prime Minister's Office) also regarding this...
This is happening in reality. I have witnessed this on my own.
Manish Gaur:- you are absolutely right saurabh . not only this now current practice that they deduct the money from your card and does not issue tickets to you and return the same in 15days they enjoy interest of the money .now irctc has become horrible . things are getting worst . Indian railways is in loss and when every you try to get a reservation you will never get . the big mafia are very much active with the help of corrupt officers of IRCTC. for complaints no takers.

Manish Gaur:- you know few months back IRCTC have announced that they are upgrading the servers and even the site will have 100000 hits it will not get slow things are now even worst than earlier .......

Manish Gaur:- yes i know some agents who have a software its license fee is very high it blocks the payment gateway so others individuals who are using irctc site does not get tickets and book all the tickets taking 300 Rs extra so what to say .....who is corrupt if you have some work and you have to go you need ticket .if you will leave your work and become gandhi no body will support you , now you have seen people are abusing arvind and his party ...
Saurabh Yadava:- we have faulted we will correct it with the passage of time specially following democratic instead of individualist leadership. we need to develop more leadership otherwise we will fail in our endevoure against corrupt and imperialistic mentality.
